For example, the origin of baseball is in the 1840s, the origin of basketball is in the 1890s, the origin of American football is in the 1800s, ice hockey was developed in the 1810s and the Modern Olympics resurfaced in Athens in 1896 under the supervision of the International Olympic Committee (The People History 2014).
